The levels were fine, if a bit short, and the level design did usually have lots of alternate paths. Overall, I say this was one of the best stories in a while. I liked the friendship part and the teamwork thing, too. Infinite seemed like an interesting character, and I liked how Classic Sonic and the Phantom Ruby was included, even if Classic Sonic was unnecessary. I liked the dialog, even if it wasn't that special, and I liked the roles each character had in this game. The final parts, especially the final boss, were all epic. The story was good as well, and I liked it all the way through. The visuals were great, and were pretty to look at. There could have been a bit more challenge to the gameplay, though. The bosses were good as well, and I loved the final boss, as it was epic and fun. The Wispons took some getting used to, but they were good to use in the end. Speaking of boost, I loved the fast paced Double Boost, which was quite fun. The controls for avatar and Modern Sonic were off at times, too, as there were some parts where I kept falling off the stage in the 3D racetrack like parts. The physics for Classic Sonic were hard at times, like in Casino Forest. His jump was a bit too difficult at times, and his rolling could have been better.
I liked Classic Sonic as well, but he did have issues, such as controls and physics. Modern Sonic was the best for me, and Avatar was fun as well.
In the meantime, tell me your thoughts and impressions on the game.įor gameplay, I enjoyed all three styles of gameplay. So, now that the game is out, and many of us have played it, what are your impressions of Sonic Forces?
